WABA devices
Connect your WhatsApp Business account to Kirisan via Meta.
Open Channel → WABA → Devices.
What this page is for
Each row is a WABA number — a WhatsApp Business phone number linked through Meta. Kirisan sends messages and campaigns at scale on your behalf while you keep using the WhatsApp Business app on your phone for everyday chats.
Pick a connected number when sending from Send → Send, campaigns, schedules, autoreply rules, or the Send API.

Sample data shown.
| Header control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Connect with Meta | Sign in with Meta and link a WhatsApp Business number to Kirisan |
Before you connect
Read the info note under the page header:

| Requirement | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| WhatsApp Business app v2.24.17 or later on the phone that owns the number | Required for coexistence — your app keeps working while Kirisan sends via Cloud API |
| Meta business access | You sign in with the Meta account that manages the WhatsApp Business number |
| Number already on WhatsApp Business | The number must be active in the WhatsApp Business app before linking |
Your existing chats stay in the WhatsApp Business app. Kirisan does not replace the app on your phone.
Connect a number
For a full step-by-step walkthrough with screenshots, see Connect with Meta — step-by-step guide.
- Update the WhatsApp Business app on your phone to v2.24.17 or later.
- On Devices, click Connect with Meta.
- Complete Meta’s sign-in and authorization flow — choose the business and phone number you want to link.
- When Kirisan finishes, a green success banner appears with your API token.

- Click Copy token and store the token somewhere safe — you need it for Send → Send, campaigns, and the Send API.
- Confirm the number appears in the table before sending production traffic.
If you close the banner without copying, use the Copy token button in the API token column on the row (full token is always available there).
Search
Search is field-based — click the search area first, pick which column to search, then type your query.

| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Click search | A Search in popup opens — you must choose a field before typing |
| 2. Pick a field | Display name, Phone, Phone number ID, WABA ID, or API token |
| 3. Type | Kirisan filters the table as you type (short debounce) |
After you pick a field, the search bar shows the field name on the left (for example Display name ▼). Click it to switch fields — changing the field clears the query.
| Search field | Matches | Minimum length |
|---|---|---|
| Display name | Business name that contains your query | 3 characters |
| Phone | WhatsApp Business phone number that contains your query | 3 characters |
| Phone number ID | Meta phone number ID that contains your query | 3 characters |
| WABA ID | WhatsApp Business Account ID that contains your query | 3 characters |
| API token | Kirisan device token that contains your query | 3 characters |
If you type fewer than three characters, Kirisan waits until the minimum is met and shows a short hint under the search bar.
Pagination below the table appears when results span more than one page (25 rows per page).
Number table
Each row is one linked WABA number:

| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Display name | Label Meta reports for this number (for example your business name) |
| Phone | The linked WhatsApp Business phone number |
| Plan | Free or paid plan badge — click to open WABA plan (see Plan and free slot below) |
| Credits | Remaining send credits on this number |
| Expires | Days left on the plan — Expired in red; under 5 days in amber |
| Phone number ID | Meta identifier for this number — useful for support and integrations |
| WABA ID | WhatsApp Business Account ID in Meta |
| API token | Kirisan device token for this number — truncated with a Copy token button |
| Created | When the number was connected in Kirisan |
| Actions | Edit, Disconnect, Copy token, and optional Use as active free device — see below |
Plan and free slot
Click any Plan badge to open WABA plan:
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Summary | Whether this number is the active free slot, parked on free tier, or on a paid plan |
| Details | Credits, expiry, and active-since date for free numbers |
| What to do next | Switch free slot, renew under Billing → Order, or copy the API token |
Every new number starts on the free plan with 1,000 credits and a 30-day validity window. When the active free period ends, Kirisan refills 1,000 credits and another 30 days automatically. When a paid plan expires, the number returns to free with 1,000 credits (same rules — see Plans and quota).
Badge colors in the table:
| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Green Free | Active free sending number (only one WABA number can send on free tier at a time) |
| Red Free | Parked free number — not the active sending slot |
| Violet plan name | Paid plan — badge shows the actual plan name |
On the free tier, only the active free number can send. On a parked free row, click Use as active free device to switch the slot (at most once every 7 days). Upgrading on Billing → Order removes the number from the free slot automatically.
Renewing the same paid plan while it is still active adds credits and extends expiry from the current date. Changing to a different plan replaces credits and resets expiry from today — leftover quota and days are not carried over. See Plans and quota.
Meta conversation fees are separate — see WABA billing.
Row actions
| Action | What it does | |
|---|---|---|
| Edit | Configure inbound message handling and optional contact capture for this number. | |
| Use as active free device | On parked free-tier rows — switches the one active free WABA sending slot to this number (once every 7 days). | |
| Disconnect | Remove this number from Kirisan. Your WhatsApp Business app on your phone is not affected. You can connect again anytime with Connect with Meta. | |
| Copy token | In the **API token** column — copies the full Kirisan device token to your clipboard. |
Edit a number
Click Edit on a row to choose what happens when someone messages this number:

| Section | What it does |
|---|---|
| When someone messages you | One handler for new inbound messages: Autoreply, Flow, Spreadsheet, or Webhook (default) |
| Contacts | Optional contact group — when set, new senders are saved to contacts and added to that group |
Click Save to apply. Display name and Meta IDs are managed through Meta, not in this dialog.
Disconnect a number
Click Disconnect on a row:

Confirm in the dialog. Kirisan stops sending and handling incoming messages for that number. The WhatsApp Business app on your phone continues working normally. Use Connect with Meta again to link the same number back.
After you connect
- Open Templates — sync and pick Meta-approved templates for outbound sends.
- Send a test from Send → Send — choose WABA and your connected number.
- Optional: set up Autoreply or Webhooks using the inbound handler you chose in Edit.
